|MessageToEagle.com – Archaeologists excavating the ancient ruins Teotihuacan in Mexico have discovered a 1,600-year-old skeleton with elongated skull and stone-encrusted mineral teeth.
The female skeleton has been nicknamed “The Woman of Tlailotlacan”. The woman, who was between 35 and 40 years old when she died, had her skull intentionally deformed and teeth were encrusted with mineral stones.
Her cranium was elongated by being compressed in a “very extreme” manner, a technique commonly used in the southern part of Mesoamerica. People with elongated skulls have been discovered world-wide.

Examinations of the ancient skeleton also reveal that the woman was a “foreigner” in Teotihuacan, is the two round pyrite stones encrusted in her top front teeth, a technique used in Mayan regions in southern Mexico and Central America.
She also wore a prosthetic lower tooth made of a green stone known as serpentine.
Archaeologists are still excavating the enigmatic ancient ruins of Teotihuacan where a secret mysterious underground tunnel may reveal secrets of this one powerful and interesting ancient civilization.
