Remarkable Historical Reincarnation Cases Or Pure Coincidences?

MessageToEagle.com – How can these people who lived in entirely different times look almost identical?

The belief in reincarnation can be found in many cultures around the world. The Transmigration of the Soul forms the basis of the earliest religious beliefs and the theory was also well-known among ancient Greek philosophers like Pherecydes, Empedocles, Plato, Virgil, and Ovid.

Plato wrote that “by making the right use of those things remembered from the former life, by constantly perfecting himself in the mysteries, a man becomes truly perfect.”

In modern times, there is widespread public belief in reincarnation. Many people believe in past and future lives.

There are of course several reincarnation stories, and some of these accounts are truly fascinating and even convincing, but from a scientific point of view, many researchers would argue there is no evidence supporting the reincarnation theory.

However, there are scientists who have devoted several years of studies to the fascinating subject of reincarnation.

Perhaps one of the most known and well respected is Dr. Ian Stevenson, Carlson Professor of Psychiatry and Director or the Division of Personality Studies at the University of Virginia. Dr. Stevenson is author of “Children Who Remember Previous Lives.

In his book, Dr. Stevenson presents the result of his forty years of experience in the study of children who claim to remember previous lives.

Due to the lack of proof, reincarnation is regarded with skepticism in the scientific community and that is something Dr. Stevenson has been trying to change with research that is just as unique as objective.

“We are lucky to have someone of his ability and high integrity investigating this controversial area,” wrote Dr. Harold Lief in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases.

“Either he is making a colossal mistake, or he will be known as the Galileo of the twentieth century,” the late Herbert S. Ripley, former chairman of the psychiatry department at the University of Washington in Seattle, once said.

So, when we look at such awesome images, as presented here, we do wonder how it is possible people living in different times can look almost identical.

The resemblance is striking!
