New Warning From Hawking – Without A World Government Technology Will Destroy Us

MessageToEagle.com – Renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has warned us on several occasions that humanity is in danger. Previously Hawking said artificial intelligence is a threat to humanity and he also stated that we have only 1,000 years to leave Earth and colonize another planet.

This time, Hawking expresses his concern over technology. He says we need to create a world government to prevent a nuclear or biological war.

Hawking says history has shown humans are a very aggressive species. “It is hard-wired into our genes by Darwinian evolution. Now, however, technology has advanced at such a pace that this aggression may destroy us all by nuclear or biological war. We need to control this inherited instinct by our logic and reason,” Hawking says.

In Hawking’s opinion, a world government could control the use of weapons of mass destruction, but he also warns about the danger a tyrant may to power.

“But that might become a tyranny,” he added. “All this may sound a bit doom-laden but I am an optimist. I think the human race will rise to meet these challenges,” Hawking says.
