Mysterious Out-Of-This-World-Like Monolith Discovered In Remote Part Of Utah

Cynthia McKanzie – MessageToEagle.com – Life is full of surprises and you never know what kind of unusual things you can spot when you least expect it.

A helicopter pilot was sent on a mission helping the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to count big horn sheep in the south of the state.

But he and one of the biologists in the helicopter saw much more than just sheep.

The state employees suddenly noticed something extraordinary. Standing in the middle of nowhere was a mysterious monolith. The structure, estimated at between 10ft and 12ft high, appeared to be planted in the ground.

It was made from some sort of metal, its shine in sharp contrast to the enormous red rocks which surrounded it.

The man-made monolith certainly looks like an out-of-this-world structure. If you are a science fiction fan, then you have most likely read the book or seen the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.

You will know that the discovery of an alien mysterious black monolith buried beneath the Lunar surface is the beginning of a great space adventure.

The monolith discovered in Utah certainly looks like something straight out of a science fiction movie.

“One of the biologists is the one who spotted it and we just happened to fly directly over the top of it,” helicopter pilot, Bret Hutchings, told local news channel KSLTV. “He was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, turn around, turn around!’ And I was like, ‘What?’ And he’s like, ‘There’s this thing back there – we’ve got to go look at it!’”

“I’m assuming it’s some new wave artist or something or, you know, somebody that was a big 2001: A Space Odyssey fan,” Hutchings said.

The crew decided to land and take a closer look at this peculiar structure. Video from the ground, obtained by KLTV, showed crew members climbing on each other’s shoulders to reach the top of the monolith.

Hutchings said. “We were kind of joking around that if one of us suddenly disappears, then the rest of us make a run for it.”

Who made the remarkable monolith in Utah and for what reason? Was it an artist, a science fiction fan, or simply someone how wanted us to have something great to admire and ponder?
