Mysterious Ancient Statues On The Island Of Nuku Hiva
|MessageToEagle.com – These very mysterious and rather curios depictions of beings can be found on Nuku Hiva, the largest of the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia.
The Temehea-Tohu statues are different in size and some of them have a large mouth while others have a small trunk and a disproportionately large elongated head helmets with huge eyes.
Interestingly, many of these unknown beings have an angry facial expression.
The statues date from about the beginning of the II millennium and their origin remains an unsolved ancient mystery.
Why would our ancestors carve statues of mysterious beings with big eyes, large elongated heads and other puzzling features?
For now, the Temehea-Tohu statues remain an intriguing unsolved mystery and it remains obvious they do not depict ordinary humans.
