By: Brien Foerster – MessageToEagle.com – Birthplace Of The Inca NOT Lake Titicaca? Most academics, and indeed oral traditions tell us that the Inca, founders of Cusco first arose on the Islands of the Sun and Moon in Lake Titicaca, present day Bolivia.
However, other beliefs indicate that in fact the Inca were “born from a cave” much closer to the city of Cusco itself, in the area of Paucartambo.
It is near the ancient site of Mauqallaqta, rarely visited by tourists that some believe the 4 Ayar Brothers, progenitors of the Inca symbolically first appeared along with their 4 sisters from a cave; the result of spontaneous generation.
Maukallaqta is a large site, with many buildings made in a rather crude manner of the stacking of roughly shaped stones cemented together with local clay mortar.
This in fact was the standard building technique of the bronze age Inca. The round buildings were likely “colca” used for food storage.
What I am always looking for at ancient sites is the presence of cultures older than the Inca, and by that I mean not evidence of simpler societies, especially as regards their building technologies, but in fact far more advanced ones.
If that statement sounds odd, take into account that parts of Cusco clearly predate the Inca by thousands of years, and the fine craftsmanship seen could only have been achieved with Lost Ancient High Technology.
For example, the gate in the above photo shows an exceptional level of stone artistry; no mortar, the stones fit very tightly together, as compared to the work you can see through the door.
Like in Cusco, the fine work may have been done prior to Inca times, with the latter then incorporating it into their own structures.
This is also evidenced in the photo above the one you are now looking at.
And this curious round tower, called a chullpa is far superior in construction than the surrounding ones.
Believed to have been used as a burial chamber by the Inca, its original builders may have made it for a completely different reason; perhaps for the concentration of subtle earth energies, as witnessed in a site near Lake Titicaca called Sillustani.
