The truly remarkable “Lady of Mali” is an ancient giant sculpture overlooking an almost inaccessible summit of a mountain in Guinea, West Africa.  Located at 1500 m altitude, the statue is clearly visible at great distance in its full shape.

The “Lady of Mali” presents itself as the unequivocal giant effigy of a female figure with the head like a crown, carved on a huge granite wall which in ancient times may have been a rocky shore of a lake or a sea, considering the fact that it is directed towards the Atlantic.
